The main event was quite likely a first ever for San Antonio wrestling as fans were treated to a three-way Barb-Wire Rope, Electrified Light Tube match. In addition to the barb-wire ropes and several light tubes, a barb-wire wrapped baseball bat, a barb-wire wrapped chair, a staple gun and several thousand thumbtacks were involved. The participants in the match were Enigma, Darin Childs and Jacob Ladder. Attempts to describe a match such as this are futile. Suffice to say that all three men suffered greatly in the match. When it reached the point that Children of Pain slammed the referee through the last remaining Electrified Light Tubes, Showtime Summers joined the men in the ring and attacked the CoP, laying them out. As Summers turned his attention to Enigma, Starr rushed to the assistance of her man, but she suffered greatly for her action as Showtime took his anger out on her. With the referee, the three wrestlers as well as Starr all incapacitated in the ring, Summers placed Enigma over Childs and counted the pin himself. Although Enigma may not have felt like a champion, in Anarchy Championship Wrestling, the victory stands and Enigma can now claim an official win in his first hard-core match.

The finals of the Lone Star Classic was next. Unlike the first round matches, the finals were fought elimination style. Darin Childs, Bio-Hazard, Skitzo and Rachel Putski came to the ring. Most of the fans in attendance were aware that Childs and Putski are married and are partners, with Jacob Ladder, in the Children of Pain. Apparently, Childs & Putski were in agreement to fight this match at full force, as Darin made a partnership with Bio-Hazard to start the match and Rachel suffered the most in the early portion of the match. Rachel got in her share of offense, mostly against Childs, but eventually he wore her down and forced her to submit. With Putski eliminated, the alliance between Bio-Hazard and Childs came to a quick end as Bio-Hazard put Childs in a submission hold, forcing him to tap out. This left Bio-Hazard and Skitzo. Still relatively new to the sport, Skitzo would have been considered an underdog to the massive Bio-Hazard, but Skitzo rose to the occasion and managed to pin Bio-Hazard, winning the first ever Lone Star Classic. Bio-Hazard started to pound on Skitzo after the match, but was stopped by Ladder and Childs who came to the ring with the trophy. Normally a trophy ceremony at a wrestling show can be expected to end with the trophy being used as a weapon on the victor, but not in this case. The CoP had more frightening plans for Skitzo. As a result of winning this tournament, Skitzo has been selected to face "ECW legend and true king of hardcore" Ian Rotten at the Anarchy Championship Wrestling show "Guilty by Association" on January 14th.

The wrestlers in the first match were the Xtreme Bulldawg Rexx Reed, Viktor Tadlock, Schoolboy Frankie Fisher and Darin Childs. Tadlock and Fisher were making their San Antonio debuts and local fans appreciated the efforts put forward in this match. Rexx Reed has been the runaway choice as San Antonio Newcomer of the Year, making a huge splash on the local wrestling scene in 2006. Darin Childs is always a dangerous competitor in any match. As all four men battled in and out of the ring, fans cheered the hard hitting action. In the end, while Tadlock and Fisher battled, Childs was able to pin Reed to take the victory and advance to the finals.

TRIPLE THREAT MATCH
Enigma beats Darin Childs w/Jacob Ladder and Dragon X
In what was supposed to be a One on One match-up, Enigma chose to interject himself and make it a Triple Threat. This was fast paced and high flying from the start through the end. The finish came as Darin Childs locked in a Dragon Sleeper on Dragon x and as X's arm fell for the third time Enigma used referee Rick Porter's should to nail a shinning wizard on Darin Childs and then pinned a prone Dragon X. after the match Darin and Enigma stood in the ring contemplating a hand shake when the dog pound came out and destroyed Darin Childs, Jacob Ladder and Enigma.

Rachel Putski had arguably the best showing of the crew on Friday night as she was entered into the first ever "Queen of the Deathmatch" tournament. Her first match was against the Uber-talented Canadian Vanessa Craven in a 10,000 thumbtacks match. Rachel somehow survived the first round with the help of a hammer into a pile of tacks and a nightmare on Helms street for the 1-2-3. In the second round Rachel really become a star, it was her shinning moment as she won over a crowd that wasn't so easy to win over. It was Rachel Putski vs. Mickie Knuckles in the First ever Women vs. Women Tai-Pai deathmatch to take place on US Soil. Basically they girls taped their fists, dipped them in glue, then dipped them in broken glass...then beat the holy hell out of each other. This match was BRUTAL. In the end Mickie Knuckles went on to the finals and eventually won. Both Mickie and Rachel were bloody messes. The first ever IWA-MS Queen of the Deathmatch Tournament was Incredible. All 7 girls and Sexxxy Eddie put 110% into showing the world that girls are more than just T&A, they are hard "F*CKING" core.

DDT: DOUBLE DEATH TOURNAMENT

Night two, Saturday November 4th 2006 marked the first ever DDT: Double Death Tournament. The Children of Pain drew "Baka Gaijin" Mad Man Pondo & Too Tough Tony in the opening round Electrified light tubes match all 4 busted our asses for the loyal, yet demanding IWA crowd. The finish came when I borrowed Enigma's hooded sweatshirt from the crowd and as I climbed the top rope ladder doused my stolen sweatshirt in lighter fluid and ignited me as I did a senton bomb, but Tony moved from the chairs we had him laid out on, so I crashed t5hrough the chairs and the electrified light tubes laying underneath the chairs. As I hit the flames exploded around me and I was pinned 1-2-3. I can honestly say the most satisfying chant I have ever received was when I was put out by the fire extinguisher I could here the crowd "THANK YOU DARIN, THANK YOU DARIN", I was more than a little touched. After the match Pondo and Tony invited Ladder and I in the ring and it was a huge honor having Baka Gaijin raising our hands in a sign of respect. Baka Gaijin went on to defeat Necro Butcher & Toby Klein in the finals.

Hugh Rogue Defeated Darin Childs in a 10,000 Thumb Tack match in 10:21

Darin Childs Made his return to XCW to challenge Hugh Rogue in the first stage of the Seven Stages of Violence. this was as bloody a match you will ever see, The finish came after Hugh hit a flatlinger on Rachel into 10,000 thumbtacks followed by a death valley driver to Darin onto an upright chair covered in tacks. extremely violent encounter.

One Man Mike Dell came to the ring to bring everyone up to date on how he had been robbed of his ACW Texas Title last month when TWE referee Ric Porter rushed to the ring to make the 3 count for Brett Thunder when the ACW ref had been incapacitated in the match. Thunder had left that night holding both the ACW Texas Title and the TWE TV Title. Dell called to the back for Thunder to come to the ring, but instead he got Darin Childs, accompanied by the lovely Rachel. Both men were intent to claim the titles from Thunder who came to the ring with Ric Porter and after a few heated words, the Triple Threat Match was underway.

This was an incredible match involving 3 of the top wrestlers in San Antonio. All three men held advantages at some point during the match and each man was likewise the victim of double teams by the other two. When Rachel got involved, distracting the ref and Thunder, Darin Childs hit the Fall Form Grace on Dell, but rather than pin Dell himself, Childs left the ring, admonishing Thunder to make the cover. A confused Thunder quickly made the cover and scored the pin, retaining both titles. One is forced to wonder what price Thunder will have to pay to the Children of Pain who have now helped Thunder win or retain these titles for 3 months in a row.
